Grand Prix event is one of Events that occurs in game from time to time, it's the most complicated event curreuntly in the game and the only one that doesn't put player's current machines on the test.
Overview[]
The player controls a group of 6(by default) randomly generated cats and their target is to travel through the world tour map from left to right by walking on chosen steps, starting from one out of two and then through adjected ones. Upon reaching the end of the map, the player collects the final prize and completes one world tour, after which the next one starts and player returns to the left side of the map.
After enough world tours are completed, the leaderboard will unlock, leaderboard works just like in All-Stars and player will gain specific amount of fans from each step on their way, some give more fans than the others.
Each world tour raises the Tiers of the machines from the garage, free machines and enemies, upon reaching world tour 24 there's no higher tier, so the tour will repeat itself.
The event has it's own special currencies which are Fans(Like in All-Stars), Flags and Fuel.
Machines[]
Each of player's cats can have one machine, as the event begins, the player can chose machines for their 3 first cats after this, new machines can be bought with flags or won.
On fight steps, the player will be put against enemy machines that are randomly generated.
Unlike in any other part of the game, after fight the machines will NOT regenerate their health, any damage dealt to the machine will remain permanently unless a repair box is used, this appliest to both player machines and enemy machines.
Machines in this event are very unique, as they can have a variety of different shapes that are not available in Championship, additionally, the machines can be randomly equipped with premium Parts such as Boomerang. Machines are mostly random, but there are also pre-made special machines known as Prototypes.
Steps[]
Player travels through the world tour on chosen steps, each step costs different amount of Fuel and has different results.
Fight Step[]
Costs 15 Fuel, the player is put against the randomly chosen enemy, to progress, the enemy machine has to be destroyed. The step usually gives impressive amount of prizes
If the player loses all machines or quits the step, upon re-entering they have to spend another 15 fuel, but the enemy will Keep the damage dealt in previous attempt.
Fight Step (Modifier)[]
Costs 15 Fuel, works just like normla fight step, but additionally, there is one out of four modifiers:
- Repulse on a pedestal in the middle
- Two repulses behind the machine
- Double Rocket Launcher in the middle
- Double Blade in the middle.
Deadly Fight Step[]
Costs 25 Fuel, follows the same rules as the normal fight step, but the enemy machine is MUCH more powerfull, the prizes are also very valuable.
Deadly Fight Step (Modifier)[]
Costs 25 Fuel, it has both the powerfull enemy and one out of four modifiers, this step has the most valuable prizes, giving Fan Multiplier Kits and Prototypes as a prize.
Reward step 1[]
Costs 30 Fuel, adds fans and flags.
Reward step 2[]
Costs 30 Fuel, adds fans and health kit.
Reward step 3[]
Costs 30-40 Fuel, adds fans and health/attack kit.
Reward step 4[]
Costs 25-50 Fuel, the most valuable Reward step as among other prizes it gives the player additional fuel, usually more than the step itself costs.
Reward step 5[]
Costs 30-70 Fuel, adds fans and parts for player's Championship Machines.
Reward step 6[]
Costs 60 Fuel, gives a machine to player's garage.
Unknown step[]
Costs 20 Fuel, it can be one of randomly chosen steps above.
In case of it being the Fight Step, the step will no longer be random upon re-entering, but the fuel cost will be reduced to 10.
Sale[]
Costs 20 Fuel, offers three randomly generated machines that costs 50% less than in normal shop.
Prototypes[]
Costs 20 Fuel, allows the player to buy one out of three randomly chosen Prototypes.
Steevy's Van Sale[]
Costs 20 Fuel, upon entering the player recieves one out of five random prizes, upon recieving the prize, the player can pay flags to get one more randomly chosen prize.
Reward Step (End)[]
Costs 50 Fuel, the step appears at the end of the map and rewards the player with premium parts for Championship or with Ultimate Parts, reaching this step completes the world tour.
Garage and kits[]
Garage is a place where the player can manipulate their machines.
If the player's cat doesn't have a machine, they can buy one from the shop using flags.
Player cannot edit the machines in any way or change the cat owning them, if the machine is damaged the player can use health kits by pressing the + button next to machine's health bar shown as cyan bar underneath.
Health Kits[]
There are 3 types of kits: small, medium and Jumbo, each regenerating different amount of health with Jumbo being able to almost fully heal the machine from 1% to 100%. Kits can be obtained from the steps in world tour map.
Machine Kits[]
These kits can be seen on top of the screen, each machine has available 0-3 slots to install kits that will improve the machine. Kits have Tiers and the further you progress, the more powerfull kits you unlock.
Installing kits costs flags, but if the machine with kits gets destroyed, the kits are not lost and will instead return to player's garage.
Kits can be sold for additional Fuel (10 or more per kit)
There are 3 types of Kits: Attack, Health and Fans.
Attack kit raises the damage of machine's parts. Health kit raises the amount of machine's health. Fans kit raises the amount of fans the player will recieve from each step, the kit is active as long as any machine has it equipped and if multiple kits are active, the amount will raise.
